Executive Committee Meeting Agenda
Erzurum, October 13-15, 2012
1- Initiating Collaborative Projects Under the name of Silk Road Science and Education Caravan
-Creating a pool for the subjects and titles of projects
-And then, finding possible teams and funds to perform the projects.
-Possible (Turkish Scientific and Technical Research Council) TUBITAK joint
Project Programs (especially in medical, natural and applied sciences)
-Possible similar programs in member countries
Decision: A scientific pool under the name of Silk Road Science and Education Caravan will be composed in the ESRUC Main Page to upload projects from member countries. Member countries will benefit from this pool to exchange and experience ideas
2- Honorary titles and awards of the consortium.
Decision: Title of Honorary Trustee will be conferred on the Turkic Country Presidents. Besides, double minaret madrasah gift symbolizing Erzurum will be delivered together with the Title Certificate .
Decision: Each year every member university should nominate name to the Executive Committee for having Consortium Award, Executive Committee will then decide the right person.
3- Having an appointment for the next executive meeting in Malaysia
(possibly in January 2013)
Decision: University Putra Malaysia will determine the date for the next Executive Meeting to be held in Malaysia before or after January 19,2013.
4- Fixing 2013 annual meeting of ESRUC (possibly in Mongolia with the executive
meeting in 9th July 2013)
Decision: The 4th ESRUC Annual Meeting will be held in Mongolia under the host of National University of Mongolia on July 9-11, 2013.
5- Discussing the next Silk Road Civilization Forum (East Anatolia South Caucasus
Cultures was held in October 10-13, 2012, Erzurum)
Decision: Next Silk Road Civilization Forum (East Anatolia South Caucasus Cultures) will be held in every two year in different country. In the first upcoming executive meeting, date and place of this forum will be determined. Georgia might be the meeting point for this forum. These fora should focus on humanity other than commercial issues.
6- Discussing the next Winter Summit (Can be at Putra Malaysia with the executive
meeting in January)
Decision: The next Winter Summit will be held in every two year in different country. In the first upcoming executive meeting, date and place of this forum will be determined.
7- Nomination of a new executive committee member
Decision: Prof.Dr. Satyendra Patnaik was elected as the new executive member.
